Moving from Bento: rebuild your page in a few minutes

By Studio Baoul

In short

Bento closed on 13 February 2026. To move, claim your name on HOKORA, paste all your old links at once — HOKORA sorts them into logos, a list and blocks — then set cards side by side to keep your grid. There’s no importer: nothing is copied from another service; you paste what you had.

What happened to Bento

Bento, the link-in-bio service built as a grid of cards, closed on 13 February 2026. Linktree, which had taken it over, offered its users a way to move there. If you’d rather rebuild somewhere else, what you need is your list of links — from an export you downloaded, your old bios or your notes.

Keep your name

Your handle is the part people remember. If it’s free on HOKORA — three to twenty characters, in lowercase letters, numbers and underscores — claim it on the home page and your address becomes hokora.page/yourname: the same name in every bio you already have, on a new host.

Paste, don’t rebuild

In the studio, paste every link you had into “Paste a link — or all of them”. Before anything is added, HOKORA shows you where each link will go:

  • social networks and messaging apps — Instagram, TikTok, X, Discord, WhatsApp, among 140 platforms it knows — become logos under your name;
  • a track, a video, a Steam profile, an anime or a GitHub repository becomes a block of its own;
  • everything else joins your list of links, with the platform’s name and icon when HOKORA knows it.

Links already on your page are skipped, and nothing is written until you press “Add all”.

Keep the grid

Bento pages were grids of cards. On HOKORA, any card can take half the width: two half cards in a row sit side by side, and each card can carry its own photo or accent colour. On a phone the cards stack, as a grid should on a small screen.

Never locked in again

Bento’s closure is a reminder that a page lives on someone else’s service. On HOKORA, “Export my page” downloads your whole page as a file, whenever you want and on every plan — your copy, so you’re never stuck again.

Why no importer?

Copying pages from another service breaks in quiet ways — a layout reads differently, a link goes missing — and it means fetching someone else’s site. Pasting your links takes a few minutes, and you see every result before it’s added.
